Good News About Men: We laugh about dangerous knives.
A man should know how to handle a knife. A man should know how to defend himself against a knife.
My good friend Travis Nelson, USMC, has a great saying: “A knife should be felt and not seen.”
You, as a man, should know why, if you’re ever facing a man with a knife, you should focus on disabling him and not going for that knife. As one of my mentors has taught me, “It’s like sticking your hand in a blender.”
Well, all those things are true, but right now, we’re just going to kick off this week with a quick (3:14) video that is titled, “Knives you don’t hand to people” which made me laugh because this guy clearly likes knives,
and a very cool fast-moving excerpt (2:53) from the movie, “The Accountant” where you see one solution to facing an attacker who comes at you with a knife.
Enjoy, then have a great week.
Respectfully,
Shannon
